High Point Class of 1966 50th Reunion

The reunion will be a series of events at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda over the weekend of
September 16-18, 2016.
(7400 Wisconsin Avenue, at the Bethesda metro stop
on the Red Line).
- Friday evening, 6:30pm
to 8:30pm, September 16, 2016: PIZZA PARTY
- NEW -- Located in the Cabinet/Judiciary Suites on the Conference Level, not on the indoor terrace
above the hotel lobby. (Elevator access
- $25 per person.
- Selection of pizza
varieties (gluten-free upon request), salad, and soft drinks. Choice of:
- Plain (margherita)
- Meat (sausage or pepperoni)
- Gluten-free (various toppings)
- Alcoholic beverages
available for purchase at the cash bar.
- Saturday morning, 10am
to 12noon, September 17, 2016: BREAKFAST
- Various breakfast and
fruit selections at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda in the Cabinet/Judiciary Suites on the Conference Level. Note this is a change in venue from the Daily Grill.
the course of the event, a handful of classmates have agreed to get up and
briefly share tales of their time at High Point and how those experiences affected what
they went on to do in life.
- The mike will then be open for anyone else to share similar personal tales.
- Saturday evening, 6pm
to 11pm, September 17, 2016: DINNER/DANCE
- The "Main Event",
a seated reception and dinner/dance
- Place: The Hyatt
Regency Bethesda Regency Ballroom on the Ballroom Level.
$120 per person. No ticket sales after August 17, 2016.

preceded by a cocktail hour at 6pm (cash bar).

provided to record your memories for the Memory Book (please leave them so we can gather the pictures from every camera).
- DJ playing all night, softly
during the dinner.
- Sunday afternoon, 1pm
to 4pm, September 18, 2016: PICNIC
- Location – Elm Street
Park, Elm & 47th Streets, less than 3 blocks from the Hyatt.
- Free on-street parking
and at the nearby Montgomery County Waverly Garage.
- No ticket required. Admission to this event is free! Bring your own food and drink (sorry, no grills) or purchase your food from one of the
many nearby shops, such as Panera Bread, 7201 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda,
301-656-5235. You can order from Panera in advance at https://delivery.panerabread.com.
- NEW-->Due to logistical difficulties, there will not be a food truck at the park. We wil get additional information to you about the many nearby shops for Picnic food.
- Admission to the Picnic is free!
